Drups Ventures
Centralised Operations | Reduced Cost Per Brand
The Situation
Drups Ventures is a multi-brand portfolio company with operations across several e-commerce brands. The central challenge was that each brand in the portfolio was operating independently with no shared infrastructure, systems, or supplier relationships -- creating duplicated effort and compounding operational overhead as the portfolio grew.
When we engaged, the portfolio was growing in brand count but not in operational sophistication. Each new brand added proportional complexity rather than leveraging existing infrastructure.
- No centralised supply chain operations
- Separate supplier relationships per brand with no consolidation
- No standardised playbooks across the portfolio
- Operational chaos increasing with each new brand addition
Our Role
Portfolio-level operations build. We owned the centralisation of supply chain, the supplier consolidation programme, and the playbook standardisation effort.
- Centralised supply chain operations management
- Shared supplier identification and consolidation
- Standardised operating playbooks across brands
- Automation workflows to reduce manual operational overhead
- Portfolio-level demand planning
Engagement
Portfolio Centralisation & Standardisation
- Centralised supply chain: one operations team managing all brands through shared systems
- Shared suppliers: consolidated purchasing relationships where product categories overlapped
- Standardised playbooks: common processes for PO management, inventory, supplier communication
- Automation: workflows built to reduce repetitive manual tasks across the portfolio
